Rod Robinson, Partner, Strategic Sourcing Practice

Prior to founding Accel Advisors, Rod was the Group Controller and Chief Procurement Officer for Cincinnati Bell, responsible for managing vendors who delivered $400 million in goods and services annually. At Cincinnati Bell, Rod was credited with developing and implementing integrated strategic sourcing and supplier diversity initiatives that delivered an excess of $14 million in annual savings along with a 42% increase in spend with diverse suppliers. Prior to Cincinnati Bell, Rod worked for several top tier professional services firms including Accenture, A.T. Kearney, and Deloitte and Touché where he earned his CPA credentials. During his consulting career, he was responsible for helping clients drive over $100 million in procurement savings for clients within the Telecommunications, Utilities, Transportation and Manufacturing industries. Rod earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
